Hats off to the Melbourne Cup
at Gracie Kelly’s

More than 52 people were crammed in to Gracie Kelly’s on Tuesday,
1 November, to watch the race that is popularly dubbed as “the race that stops the nation”. Elegant fashion and horse racing are two popular themes on Melbourne Cup Day, which is an annual event and one of Australia’s most popular social and horse racing event held on the first Tuesday of November every year.

Besides the Race our popular Best Hat Competition was held and the winner went home with a voucher for a one night stay voucher. The second place, won by Stephen Kolodij, received a dinner at H2O restaurant for two people.

10% of the money raised was donated to the Bali Dynasty Charity Effort, which helps the integrated education project in conjunction with the East Bali Poverty Project in a remote area of North Eastern Bali
